Ration Clothing Booklet (Facsimile)
Clothing rationing was introduced in June 1941 and continued until March 1949 and meant that everyone received a fair share. Clothing rationing also freed up factory space and released workers for vital war work.
The British people were issued with just 66 clothing coupons each. Each item of clothing had a points value, usually displayed alongside the price. The more fabric and labour that was needed to produce a garment, the more points required.
This is a facsimile of a ration clothing book from the Second World War.
