All of the air arms involved in the Second World War amassed their own fair share of aces and three are represented here: Battle of Britain ace, Pilot Officer Basil Gerald 'Stapme' Stapleton, who scored all of his nine kills in the Supermarine Spitfire; German ace, Oberleutnant Gustav 'Mickey' Sprick, who was awarded the Knights Cross after scoring his 20th kill and scored a further eleven before being killed in 1941; American ace, Colonel Clarence 'Bud' Anderson - the most successful of the trio, scoring sixteen kills before the war ended in his famous P51 Mustang, 'Old Crow'. Now you can get them all in one Airfix gift set.
