Based on a First World War British recruitment poster. The South Midland Division was establised at the outbreak of the Frist World War and moved to France in March 1915, where it became the 48th Division. The cyclist company, part of the South Midland Division was formed in December 1915, creating a lighter and logistically easier method of reconnaissance and communications work during the war. The med for the cyclist company were drawn from all the existing units as well as new recruits.
