This poster was designed by the cartoonist Kenneth Bird, otherwise known under his pseudonym âFougasseâ, who was the Art Editor for Punch from 1937 â 1948. This poster uses quick humour and a simple design to attract attention, and like most of Birdâs propaganda during the Second World War, was done for free.
Poster reads: You never know who is listening! Careless talk costs lives
