Oxo tin
Before Oxo came in packets and cardboard boxes, they came in smart tins like this Oxo cube tin.
Packages sent to soldiers in the Western Front during the First World War would include home comforts such as Oxo cubes or cigarettes and tea. A tin such as this, would have been re-used to hold keepsakes and letters.
